一、端午節的故事（Story of the Dragon Boat Festival）
很久以前，有一個有名的人叫屈原（Qū Yuán）。他是中國的詩人，也很愛國。可是，有一天他被皇上趕走了，他很難過，最後跳河（汨羅江mì luó jiāng ）死了。人們很傷心，為了不讓魚吃他的身體，他們丟粽子 (zòng zi) 到河裡，還划龍舟去找他。
English translation:
A long time ago, there was a famous person named Qu Yuan. He was a Chinese poet and loved his country very much. One day, the king sent him away. He was very sad and jumped into the river. People were heartbroken. To stop the fish from eating his body, they threw rice dumplings (zòngzi) into the river and rowed dragon boats to find him.
二、端午節要做的事情（Things We Do During the Festival）
1. 包粽子 (Bāo zòngzi – Make Rice Dumplings)
粽子是用糯米包成三角形或長形的食物，外面用竹葉包起來，再用繩子綁住，然後拿去蒸或煮。
